Wait, where did 2010 go?!

Wait, where did 2010 go?! It seems just like yesterday that we were saying, "happy 2010!" Well, I guess I should be saying, Happy 2011!
Kezia and Kiel Freeman are spending two months in North America, and (along with Kaleb Freeman, who is studying in the US) spent one night with us. It was so good to see them again, and it reminded me of how much I've missed them!
Kiel (17, almost 18) hasn't been sledding yet, and he really wanted to go! (Understandably!) Since we had a huge melt down Sunday (the day before they arrived), we improvised.  We took them snow tubing at Chicapee Tube Park, and they really enjoyed that! We also showed them how to play on our Wii. They enjoyed  playing Mario Kart, (especially Kiel), and it was so entertaining for everyone to watch! :)
It was really too bad that they could only stay for one day, and since we wanted them to stay for at least another night, us girls (me and my two sisters) prayed for a huge snow storm. When we woke up, there was a fresh blanket of snow just barely covering the grass. OK, so we didn't get exactly what we wanted, but after breakfast us three girls had an awesome snow ball fight with Kiel! We had an amazing time with them, and we were super sad to see them go. But, now Victoria and I are brainstorming on ways to raise money so we can pay for our own plane tickets! We're desperate to get back to the mountains of South America! (Can you tell?)
Now, I'd like to look back on the past year, and see what we've done.
After Eastern Camp we spent some time in Lancaster County (also known as Amish Country.) We went to the Sights and Sounds theater to watch the play of Joseph, and that was amazing!
We also spent some time shopping at the outlets, and got some good deals!
We did some riding at a Christian ranch around Milton, called Rocky Ridge. It was nice to get back on a horse, but got kind of boring when we found out the most exiting thing we would be doing was trotting.
Candace and I are taking more gymnastics, and very much enjoying that!
It's been a much quieter year then 2009, but every once and a while we need a break. We are thankful for all the things God has done for us this past year, and we are looking forward to see what God has in store for this New Year!
